Thank you for your interest in SBBC. On behalf of our faculty and church family, we are excited about helping to train Christian leaders in the 21st century. SBBC is a "local church" based ministry and is very grateful for the help and support of churches of like faith.

The question is often asked, "Are we able to effectively train people for the ministry in Australia?" The answer is a resounding "Yes!" You don't need to go overseas to receive training for the ministry; SBBC is ready to serve you to this end.

I had the privilege of being saved, baptised and grounded through the ministry of Metropolitan Baptist Church and then went on to be trained for the ministry at Sydney Bible Baptist College. It granted me, and many, many others like me, a balanced, exciting and complete preparation for the ministry.

Almost 40 years have passed since my graduation, and our college remains true to the "old paths" of fundamental Baptist doctrine and practice.

Whether your goal is to acquire a foundation of Bible knowledge for use within your local church or to graduate and go on to full-time service, our program has you in mind. We are also committed to equipping our students with a working knowledge of the ministry for today's generation.

With God’s help and proper training, we believe our graduates will “make a mark in history” as they go into all the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
