Academic Welcome

After yielding to God's service, the Lord led me to study at SBBC for three years, and then a further three years in seminary.

My formal training allowed me to get to know the Bible through subjects that I didn't know even existed. I was able to search out reasons for the faith once delivered to the saints.

I had opportunity to question established belief to be certain that it was founded upon the Word of God. I was introduced to the experiences and faith of men and women of God who had walked with God before me.

I was forced to trust God to fulfill the arduous responsibilities of study, employment, family and ministry. I was blessed and challenged by my fellow students who had forsaken all, and endured all, to serve Christ.

Finally, I gained a sense of spiritual maturity and a renewed vision for ministry both in Australia and abroad.

My formal training prepared me to serve the Lord for more than 30 years and enabled me to likewise train others who have been called to prepare for the ministry.
